io.net and Nillion Partner to Transform Privacy-Preserving AI Compute Solutions
Nillion, a company focused on blind computation, and io.net, known for its decentralized distributed compute networks, are pleased to announce their strategic partnership, which aims to improve the inferenceof machine learning models with better efficiency and privacy.
Nillion and io.net have decided to investigate a partnership that combines Nillion’s privacy-focused infrastructure with io.net’s extensive GPU computing capabilities. Afterthe mainnet launch of Nillion, the collaboration will concentrate on creating a proof of concept that will allow Nillion clusters to be customized by utilizing io.net’s GPU resources.
Specifically, the two parties are exploring the implementations of GPU-powered blind computation inference in some of Nillion’s clusters, keeping users’ input data encrypted while offering privacy also for model parameters. Such implementation could further accelerate the adoption of AI agent deployments on the Nillion Network while becoming a potential backbone of split inference implementations that combine different privacy-enhancing technologies in running AI inference.
